Vision and Training Center

Each year HCDBM has experienced an increased number of people reaching out for help. The cost of living coupled with the region’s population expected to double over the next 5 years, has required HCDBM to take steps to build capacity and be prepared to meet existing and future needs of this region.

We are so grateful for the many generous donors that have made it possible for this important facility to be built.

The Center includes 8,000 square feet serving as a multi-purpose building serving over 14,000 people each year through church training, continuing education of mentoring partners and the community, year-round programs for the students (SBM), leadership training, continuing education, training volunteers, training programs for clients and much more. In addition to these programs, community projects and events can be held.

It seats up to 300 and includes a commercial kitchen.

This facility provides critical space to ensure we can continue to provide the support and innovation required to serve our partners and our community as well as introduce new programming in the future.

Making Progress!

In May, the steel beams and trusses were installed! The roof and dry-in of the building are coming soon! The Vision Center is schedule for completion spring of 2025.
