Ways to give

PRODUCT

You make the difference.

Your product donations are critical to the ongoing mission of preventing food insecurity and instability in the 70,000 individuals we serve annually.

In addition to food, HCDBM also distributes basic resources such as diapers, wipes, personal hygiene products, clothing and much more.

Below you will find instructions to donate products that are vital basic resources for children, families, the elderly, and disabled individuals as well as our area’s non-profits, agencies and churches.

Did you know?

Hill Country Daily Bread Ministries demonstrates the love of Christian partnership by linking arms, not only with churches, but also by collaborating with more than 100 nonprofits and agencies through our Community Resource Program. When you donate to HCDBM, it helps all these other agencies … your donor dollar goes a long way!

How to Give

Whether it's food, clothing, or other essential items, the impact of donating products goes beyond the immediate assistance it provides.

Food donation not only provides sustenance to those in need but also brings about a myriad of benefits to our neighbors as a whole.

The act of donating food goes beyond the simple act of giving; it has the power to transform lives and communities in profound ways.

Household/Personal Hygiene Products

Household, hygiene and cleaning items are frequently sacrificed when money is short. Your donations of these critical items prevent other serious health issues.

These items are hard to get through our typical networks so we appreciate it so much when these items are donated.

Drives, are a perfect way to make a huge impact. Consider creating a fun and purposeful event championing a drive for these items. Every donation impacts lives. Your generosity makes a BIG impact!

  • Your donation of baby diapers and wipes blesses mothers and prevents serious issues relating to diaper rash when babies are not changed frequently enough. Diapers are not covered by any government program.

Because of generous donors, HDCBM has a robust diaper program distributing over 150,000 diapers annually to local individuals and agencies.

  • Community and business donations ensure our clothing ministry blesses children and adults year-round.

We believe people should have the dignity of proper seasonal clothing. Children especially suffer when they have no choice but to wear ill-fitting and inappropriate clothing. Clients can also "shop" in our on-site clothing store (at no cost). HCDBM accepts clothing for all ages year-round.

Opportunities for groups and individuals to donate, sort, and pack clothing are available. Special seasonal programs include Operation Warm, Back-to-School Clothes, our quarterly clothing shopping day, and year-round client requests.

  • Essential household items such as linens, kitchen, and small appliances in good working condition will be accepted. We will accept toys and children's books in excellent condition; new toys are preferred.

To ensure the safety of those we serve, we cannot accept opened or expired items, mattresses, and certain baby items such as furniture, highchairs, strollers, helmets, and car seats.

Special Seasonal Programs (Wrap Arounds)

When poverty hits, often money for special celebrations is not available.

Because of your generosity, we can preserve special celebrations and family moments by providing resources during Easter, Back to School, Winter Coats, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Birthday in a Bag, and our Kingdom Kids Book and Bible Club distributed through the Family Mentoring Resource and Stand by Me Programs. These are wonderful opportunities for groups and churches to participate in.

Host a Drive

Drives are a great way to work together and make a significant impact! Church and neighborhood groups, businesses, and schools all enjoy working together on behalf of their neighbor in need.

Groups can participate in scheduled drives, work alongside HCDBM staff, or organize a custom event directly addressing our current needs.

    • To deliver group drive donations, visit our warehouse at 38 Cascade Caverns, Boerne, TX 78015. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 3 pm unless otherwise scheduled.

    • And finally, let us snap a photo and let you know the weight of your donation so you can share it with your group and spread the word on social media.

Click here to email Debi for more information about how to sign up for or host a product drive event.

Donate Auction Items

HCDBM hosts an annual fundraiser consisting of an incredible silent and live auction, dinner, raffle(s), and entertainment.  Some of our memorable artists include Jordan Smith, David Crowder, and Natalie Grant. This event sells out every year and is a significant source of our funding.

The annual Vision Fundraiser Dinner is only successful because of generous supporters that donate items such as hotel stays, golf outings, gift certificates, home goods, clothing, airfare and luxury vacation packages, a year's supply of Chick-fil-A, or other experiences, etc.

100% of all money raised that evening goes to fund vital programs. Thank you to those of you that have made this event a success!
